Secret Agent

Secret Agent is a word-based party game that brings strategy and language challenges to groups of 2–10 players. Each game runs 7–25 minutes, making it ideal for quick rounds during gatherings or longer play sessions with larger groups.

The game divides players into red and blue teams, each with a spymaster who guides their side to victory. You can play solo against the AI, with the app controlling the opposing team's spymaster, or invite others to compete head-to-head. A spymaster sees the hidden card colors while their teammates work to identify them based on verbal clues.

Gameplay centers on the spymaster giving one-word hints that connect multiple cards on the board. For example, if Snake, Mouse, and Eagle all belong to your team, you might hint "Animal, 3" to guide your teammates to select those three cards. Teammates then pick cards they believe match the hint—but selecting an opponent's card or a neutral card ends the turn and shifts play to the other side. The first team to reveal all their cards wins.

Choose your board size at the start: 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, or 42 cards, each offering different difficulty and game length. The interface clearly shows which team plays each round, and only the active spymaster can tap the Show Secret Code button to see the hidden color assignments. This keeps the hidden information truly secret—critical to fair play.

Hints must be single words that don't appear on any visible card and don't contain or overlap with any card text. This constraint forces creative thinking and makes the guessing phase engaging for all players. Success hinges on language skills, lateral thinking, and how well team members understand each other's associations.
